Many new properties have been popping up lately so I’ve been very busy looking and booking house viewings but haven’t had the time to update you all. Please expect more house hunting updates in the coming days as I catch up on previous house viewings!
Memory Lane
This property came up very recently and caught my attention almost immediately – it was a home on the street I grew up on. I quickly grabbed the phone and contacted the estate agents to take a look at this fascinating bungalow. It isn’t often that bungalows that look this promising come onto the market so it seemed like a no-brainer opportunity too. Did I strike the golden property today?
The House
The house itself was a small-sized bungalow with lovely red bricks and a bright red door. An entrance hallway led into the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen which had outdated features. While these features looked dated, they looked to have been maintained extremely well which made the property look well kept.
There was also access to a large garden, which made this house perfect for any future extension prospects. It was probably the biggest garden I had come across since I started searching for homes earlier this year.
All in all, the online profile really stood out and gave me hope that this was the perfect property to live in after giving the home some TLC. My excitement for this property had peaked to new heights but this would be short-lived when it came to the viewing.
The Viewing
Unfortunately, the pictures online tricked me again as the home was tragically too small. The hallway was extremely tight, giving no leeway for extension or room for improvement. Although, the garden did deserve an award for being the biggest garden and was the best part of this house for me.

Leaving the viewing, I did feel heartbroken as this house really felt promising but it is what it is. I really hope you enjoyed the latest house hunting update.
