16th Edition
Welcome to my latest edition of property hunt – the update where I discuss the houses I visited and whether or not it was the perfect accessible home for me. We’re now at episode 16, which means another property was secured for viewing, so far I’ve had many videos with no luck. Will this be the right accessible property for me? Read on to find out!
The Viewing
What made me book a viewing was the spacious living area shown via online viewing. There was plenty of space and many modern and accessible-looking features. The bathroom also looked quite suitable from an accessibility point of view. It’s important to note that online viewings don’t always mean the home is fully accessible.
The House/Drive
The first thing to note about the property was how clean and modern it looked. Due to it being built quite recently, it had immaculate walls, tidy home features and very modern living areas. As for the general property, it was amazing and had so many lovely features, which almost tempted me to purchase the property.
Unfortunately, the property had some minor issues in terms of accessibility. One of them was the lack of space in the hallway and bathroom, which would have made it increasingly difficult to navigate around the home and use the bathroom easily. The drive was also quite small and offered no space, making it very difficult to have guests over since there was nowhere else to park since the road was very narrow.
Small but Clean Garden
Furthermore, the garden was very small too, which was disappointing since I required a fairly decent size garden to enjoy the sun during the summer months. However, one good characteristic of the garden is that it looked fairly well maintained and very clean, which was a change from the wacky back gardens I usually see!
End of Update
Today’s property wasn’t the right one but the search isn’t over until I find the perfect accessible property! The update was quite short today but that’s because there wasn’t much to discuss since it was almost the perfect property.
