True Romance
It’s always exciting starting the week strong with a property viewing. As it was Valentine’s Day, I hoped the property may be my secret admirer and be the one true romance for me! Did I meet my true love or were we never meant to be?
Viewing
Front Garden/Driveway
The drive was pretty spacious in terms of drive space, with a small gate for some privacy. There were also plenty of plant pots on display, which gave the front garden a nice bit of life. To the left of the drive was a sheltered area leading up to the property’s entrance.
Inside Property
Due to the good use of space, the hallway was a pretty spacious rectangle which gave plenty of room for turning around. Straight on was the bathroom, to the left were the bedrooms and to the right was the kitchen and living area. All these areas had their perks in terms of offering easy access but the doorways were tight for a wheelchair to get through to start with.
Much to my surprise, this property wasn’t the true romance I desired. It had some features like spacious bedrooms and a pretty decent length, however, the bathroom was too small and there was limited space to adapt it.
Back Garden
As with many gardens, this one was very average in terms of space and potential adaptability options. It also had access to a shed and storage area, giving great opportunities to store garden furniture or tools between seasons.
Poor Design
Again, poor property design had let me down, which further highlights the need for new accessible properties. The property romance was never meant to be so the property search shall continue. Will the next property be one of my dreams? Stay updated with the blog and find out!
